What does a master split mean?

On a leased beat the master recording is split between you and the producer, and the songwriting side stays yours on all four instant tiers.

What happens to a beat once it sells?

On an exclusive it comes off the store the same day and it is never licensed again. That is the default here. If you would rather have narrower terms at a lower number, say so and we will write it that way.

One owner, or terms we agree

Every beat here is a finished production, not a loop pack, so the exclusive is the point: buy it and the beat comes off the store and nobody else can ever use it. Wider terms are available on any of them and are quoted per beat. Whatever we agree, the written agreement is generated in your name and delivered with your files.

Some beats may contain samples or loops that may require rights to be obtained from other third parties. By purchasing a license, the artist (licensee) accepts full responsibility for obtaining any necessary sample clearances prior to commercial release, and acknowledges that the producer (licensor) is not liable for any claims arising from the use of such samples.

Stems before a licence

The delivery of audio stems or multitrack files is for evaluation and mixing purposes only; no license to distribute, perform, or commercially exploit the resulting work is granted or implied until a formal license is purchased and a written agreement is executed by both parties.
